Certain Report said that the NFL's medical committee is planning offering players echocardiograms after Chicago Bears defensive end Gaines Adams' death this month.
Adams died Jan. 17 of an enlarged heart, something an echocardiogram can detect. NFL teams already give extensive physicals to players. Stress testing and echocardiograms are conducted when the results of the physical, an EKG and family history indicate the need. NFL medical people and outside experts who sit on the league's cardiovascular health committee previously have discussed making echocardiograms standard. They're doing so again, pending the final pathologists' report on Adams.
We hope all the players with NFL jerseys would be healthy with the gradually upgrading rules and equipments.

Garcon concerns about family in quake-hit Haiti
Pierre Garcon's charming smile was gone instead of worries about Haiti's fatal earthquake and the fate of his relatives who live near the capital city of Port-Au-Prince.
"Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. We still have not heard much from them, and my mom is still trying to call them," Garcon said, according to The Associated Press. "I'm keeping in contact with my mom. It's tough to get in touch with people down there because of the phone lines." This second year player with No.85 colts jersey was born in the USA, but most of his relatives still stay in the Caribbean nation.
Because of the destroy of the quake, keep in touch with hit area is hard. God bless them.

Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin helt much better and he was confident about playing in NFC divisional playoff game at New Orleans on Saturday.

His injuries made thei three time Pro Bowl receiver sit out Sunday's victory over the Packers. Boldin was expected to practicing Wednesday or Thursday. "It all depends on how it responds," he said. "I was able to do a lot of lateral drills today. It still doesn't feel as good as I would like it to be, but it's definitely an improvement."
Bodin wore the No.81 ardinals jersey.

Lewis says sorry for lossing the playoff game
Coach Marvin Lewis said he felt sorry for lossing the chance to win in the playoff game.
They have lost in the playoff games in the past 19 years, letting their latest chance go on Saturday. A 24-14 loss to the New York Jets at Paul Brown Stadium ended their way to the AFC North title. “I do need to apologize that I haven’t gotten us over the hump, and I haven’t gotten us beyond where we’ve been,” Lewis said Monday at his end-of-the-season news conference. “That’s my job and my focus to get us beyond that. And we’ll get started on that very quickly.” The Bengals' defense was effective at beginning but they faded at the end.

Rooney Rule debate
Former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy questioned the process carried by the Redskins that they interviewed assistant coach Jerry Gray for the head-coaching position when Jim Zorn was still on that position.
It seemed to be against the Rooney Rule. "That is not what the Rooney Rule is supposed to be, (that) you make up your mind and then interview a candidate for it anyway just to satisfy the rule," said Dungy, who retired from coaching last year and now is an analyst on NBC's Football Night in America. "If the Jerry Gray situation is the way it has been described as happening, I don't think it was fair. I don't think I would ever interview for a job if my boss was not out of the job. I don't blame Jerry; it's the position he was put in, if it happened that way."
We encourage all candidates to enter the interview under the proper procedures. Rules always needed and it does good to all the players with NFL jerseys

Harvin was talented at combining the speed, intelligence and toughness to made him shining to award the the runaway winner of The Associated Press 2009 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Harvin won the award supporting by 41 votes Wednesday from the nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league.

Jets' Harris is in doubt
New York Jets linebacker David Harris was absent form the practice Tuesday with a sprained right ankle, and his status was uncertain for entering the AFC wild-card playoff game at Cincinnati.
"It's too early to tell," Jets coach Rex Ryan said. "He was there for the walkthrough and all that, but he didn't practice." As a leading tackler, his sitting out would be a heavy blow to the NFL'S top-ranked defense. His ankle was hurt uring the first half of the regular-season finale against the Bengals on Sunday and was sidelined in the second half. Ryan was not certain if Harris would join the practice Wednesday or play Saturday.
Ryan Fowler who was just recovering from a head injury may take his palce. But certain media said Ryan was not wearong a jets jersey during the practice.

Kyle Shanahan may leave to work with his father
Texans coach Gary Kubiak said he wanted offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan to leave if his father Mike Shanahan serves the Redskins as coach.
Kubiak has worked for the elder Shanahan for many years in Denver. But Jim Zorn was just dismissed hours before. “That’s part of the business and with Kyle, and nothing’s official yet, but obviously it looks like Mike’s coming right back in the business here real quick and I know it’s something he’s always wanted, to work with his son,” Kubiak said. “I’d be the same way.” The young Shanahan said it's too marvellous to work with his father and if the eld Shanahan comes back, he thinks the timing will be right. Kyle has worked with Kubiak since he was in Houston in 2006 after following Mike Shanahan for years as an offensive coordinator.
Quarterback Matt Schaub with No.8 texans jersey who was guided by Kyle Shanahan and developed into a prolific passer was upset by the coach's leaving.
